Disgraceful. Pitiful. Hated. Watcher.
Hater. Homeless. Loveless. Unworthy.
Retarded. Bitch. Slut. Afraid. Alone.

CrushesLeading me on, pulling me around
Pulling me up, high off the ground

Letting my perspective wander astray
Letting my focus drift away

Believing in things that could never be
Attention-seeking, hypnotizing me

Just when you think you've got it figured out
Just when you think you've found the one who is devout

It turns around and slaps you in the face
Screaming, laughing as you lose the race

Resulting in heartbreak, closure of the mind
Believing you won't discover another find

It's always an illusion, a trick in your head
To find who you 'love', then wish you were dead

Child of a MurdererThe thrashing of my daddy's screams,
echoing in my ear.
The way that my tears stream
speaking of all my fears.

The thump of mommy hitting the ground
pushes me to my feet.
I ran not to her but all the way around
listening only to my heart beat.

I hit the door running
and ran far away,
my stature anything but cunning,
caring only to escape as daddy begun to slay.

Midnight was when I turned around,
and twilight was when I came inside.
I saw the blood painting mommy's night gown,
and I learned that even a child recognizes someone who has died.

I curled up beside her
hiding within plain sight.
Knowing that daddy was far gone

Two windowsFreedom beckoned beyond the window, Salvation!
Steel barred was the other; silk bed made, stained with hate.
Passers-by gazed up with pleased eyes; mine was a worse fate.
The others were kind, through plastic bars; they semed, as lillies, sanctification.

The window watched me always; kept me safe from them,
But through that wide-eyed window; melodious notes seemed to stem;
Dreams of freedom! Save me from this vicious tyranny! Let me out!
Deep voices 'yelled'; 'I'll save you,' sanctuary and I were in a terrible bout.

The soft blades tickled her thighs; no she thought this can't be right.

Better Than Me.I loved you more than anything,
Seeing you with them it kills me,
I wish I could forget about you,
Live my life and start anew,
The thought of us being together rips at my heart,
It tears at my entire being slowly killing me,
My eyes are a constant waterfall of sadness,
My life has become a constant battle to stay alive,
A never ending struggle for my own sanity,
I have to stop trying to die and just live,
But I gave you everything I had to give,
Now you have found someone new,
Someone who is better than me,
Someone who can give you what you deserve,
I was never good enough,

It's easy to judge someone objectively.

When it comes to it you choose what to forget selectively.

I'd be lying if I said I this situation has not affected me.

Too hasty to label and condemn others.

When you sleep keeping the truth under the covers.

In the morning the lies emerges and everyone suffers.

I'm left lieing in a bed of illusions thinking your friends are my brothers.

My actions offend you and I apologise.

Demon of DepressionDepression is a tricky little devil. It comes and goes, in bits and pieces, in mass's and chunks. It makes you feel below bad, makes you feel to tired to hate life and those around you. Makes it a challenge to smile. Turns you into a sad, lifeless little zombie.

I, personally, deal with that demon. My demon's a small, monor compared to others that the world faces. Still, it possesses my soul, dteals my thoughts and emotions away. Mine are tiny, but enough to make it difficult to wake up, make me not want to wake up in the morning, not want to face yet another hellish day.

It strikes often, often enough to leave its sting for weeks, months.

Who am I?                      "I am me.."

               Who ever that may be.

A worried mind – thinking of her absence.
A torn-up heart – always aching with sadness.
A pair of eyes – filling with the waters of grief.
They all began to vanish, ever so slowly.

When I heard those words, I couldn't believe…
I cried uncontrollably, sobbing painfully.
That feeling when you're filled with happiness.
When you're unable to control your emotions?

With a light or heavy touch

I am a survivor
Because I wish to survive.

I am a dreamer
Because dreams are my break from reality.

I am a lover
Because I yearn to love.

I am a seeker
Because I will seek for my joy.

I am an observer
Because I can observe my enemies,
and know the score.

I am a killer
Because I kill to save others.

I am a hunter
Because I will hunt for truth and lies.

I am a decider
Because I can decide if I can trust you.

I am a teacher
Because I teach the future.

I am a student
Because I still learn.

I am a fighter
Because I do not believe in surrender.

I am a hater
Because the world dispises my spirit
and wants to bring me down.

I am a rebel
Because when the world spits in my face,
I will spit back.

I am a leader
Because I refuse to break down.

I am a wise one
Because wise one's understand lies.

I am a child
Because I can still laugh at other's stupidity.

I am an adult
Because I can put up with you.

I am innocent
Because my heart throbs with ignorance.

I am robbed
Because I still feel the pain.

Because survival is not my first concern,
but it happens to me anyways.
